How do I get the default radio button selected when using conditions?

Asked by eurocopies on May 15, 2011 at 04:59 PM

I have a set of radio buttons, one of which is "selected" (i.e. set as the default). This set of radio buttons only shows based on a condition.

When the condition is met, the set of radio buttons show, but the default is never selected - nothing gets selected.

    Hi eurocopies

After cloning your form, deleting all of its conditions and removing all of the fields except the first "Paper Size" (to ensure that it wasn't some conflict between conditions causing the problem), I re-installed the condition showing that field when "documents, prints or copies" was selected in the "Job Type" field. Sure enough, when that option was selected, the "Paper Size" field was revealed sans any selections.

So, this issue of a selected radio button becoming deselected when a condition reveals the field of which it is a part, appears to be a bug.

Thanks for alerting us to this. Our developers will be notified and will see what they can do to fix it.
