Submissions with in form submission questions (embedded iFrame into the form)Asked by ultrakr on August 16, 2013 at 12:41 PM
Above is the preview of my form. I have an Iframe embedded into my form. So the problem is when a customer inputs their information and we export it to excel, there is no way of me seeing how much and what the person paid for if its checks. I added a submit button to the check calaculator part but that shows up in my other form submissions and is not linked. any way to fix this ? confusing maybe so please don't hesistate for more questions out of me. thanks
Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, the iFrame embedding does not link your forms. The form user will submit only one form at once.
As an alternative, you can place the Payment Method field at the top of your main form, and embed full forms (all the fields included on each form) with different payment methods to that main form.
If something is not clear, please let us know. We will be happy to help.
im sorry i dont understand that part of it.. could you break it down in a way i could visually see?
The way I understand your form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/32198613606961 , you must have follow the idea on this guide
So, what our colleague Mike_T meant was, using the different payment method will not linked all the payment method chosen into a single submission.
Whenever you select a different payment method (i.e. Invoice), the submissions will be for each different form.
If you noticed, when you select Invoice payment method, there is a separate submit button on it.
When you click submit for the Check or Invoice payment method, the submission will go this form
If you select Credit Card, the submission will be for the main form http://www.jotformpro.com/form/32198613606961
The suggested alternative was, to let go of the Main Form details.. like those on the 1st page.
This means you will have to put ALL the details into each form. The Check/Invoice form will have Child Information, Parent Information..etc and same as to the Credit Card form.
The main form will consist only of the Payment Method options. So, when a user chooses a payment method, a full single form will be opened.
Hope I am able to describe it enought. Inform us if it is still not clear.
