If then condition and autogenerate specific valueAsked by awelling on August 21, 2013 at 03:18 PM
Can I do an "If Statement"
I need this to happen:
If a person chooses "ABC Carrier", I need the "DOT#" to autogenerate to the specified carrier.
Is there a way to do this?
" If a person chooses "ABC Carrier", I need the "DOT#" to autogenerate to the specified carrier."
Yes, there is an "If statement" RULES in the condition wizard.
BUT what it cannot do in the ACTION statement is autogenerate, calculate or create new value.
The action statement can only Show/Hide, redirect, or change page. You can review more here Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic
In your statement, the specified carrier should already be existing in the form for you to apply an action to it.
Hope this help. Please inform us if you need further assistance.
