How can we pull data from the submissions going to our database.

We are in the process of creating an agricultural website where registered users enter farm and field information. Data will also be collected from field sensors and uploaded into tables.

When the user wants to determine whether they need to irrigate and how much, they will execute a PHP/MySQL program which pulls data from the information they provided and the sensors. This recommendation will also be added to the database.

We will also need the capability to update registration, farm, and field information.

Will JotForm work for us?  Ideally, the users information could be sent to your database as well as one on our server where the sensor data is located.

Thank you in advance for your help.

You might want to consider Jotform Webhooks  for your requirements,  this feature would replace Send Post Data + Custom URL Thank You Page workaround in order to help you transfer forms data to your own database using your own script codes

Please find out more about it here

Yes the form fieldsare editable anytime. So if you need to update something it will be available on your JotForm editor. You can try JotForm for free so that you can navigate and see if this can really work for you.

    Looking forward to serve you.

    Thank you. :)
