PDF files not attached with Notifications

    Hi, this is becoming a real problem.

    All of the forms we use in our business have an associated pdf that is emailed to the required person, however over the last 6 weeks or so we have had intermitting episodes when the pdf does not get sent and the recipient only receives a download link that either works or it doesn't?

    This is really frustrating, please can you help?

    Greetings.

    Please note that the PDF file won't be sent if the total size of the attachments is larger than 5 MB. In this case, the download link will be sent instead.

    To be able to download PDF files, you need to be logged in to your JotForm account. You can disable this from the account settings:

    If you are still not able to download PDF files after disabling this option, please let us know what error you see when you try to download the PDF file.

    If the PDF file is not larger than 5 MB, please send us the ID of a submission where the PDF file is not attached. You can click here to see where to find the submission ID.

    Hi,

    this is the last one that never came through ID: 4778869040212949590

    instead I received a download link. When this is downloaded the file size is only 2.2mb

    Thank you for the additional information.

    I have noticed that you have 7 recipients in the Notification. Could you please let us know have all of them received the PDF link? If not, could you please let us know which one received the link, or which one received the file?

    Look!

    this is hard to chase back as I have my day to day work to do. I ask a question and you don't reply for days by which time many other form and attachment have been missed. This is an issue with Jotform that needs to be sorted out asap.

    It's the same problem day in day out. Some of the PDF files come through and some don't when they do, we all get them, when they don't, nobody gets them and sometimes you cant even download from the link?

    Apologies for the inconvenience. Please note that by default, if you have enabled PDF Attachment within your emails, the system will always attach the PDF.

    However, in cases where the system is having a problem while generating the PDF or while attaching it, hence, as a backup process, you will be provided with the PDF link.

    As for file uploads, we do have a limit of 5MB for email attachments and in cases where the uploads exceeds it, they will no longer be attached.
