    Hi,

You have the option to pre-populate fields by either enabling the option in jotform or by using a url parameter. The links below provides information on both options.

    1. How to Enable prepopulating fields

    2. Prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters

I hope this is what you are looking for. If none of the provided options work please send us an example of what you would like to achieve in more details so that we can provide further assistance.

    Thanks!

We are trying to put together a database of alumni from our school.  We have a bunch of info already in an Excel sheet so what we would like to do is have a form for people to fill in and if their name is already in our database, along with address, etc. we want it to display the info we have on file and allow them to then simply make corrections where needed.

    Is this at all possible?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Kara,

In order for the original poster of this thread not to get notified from our correspondence, and so that we can fully tend to what you are trying to achieve, I have moved your post to a support thread of its own:

    https://www.jotform.com/answers/971729

We will be assisting you with it there, shortly. Thank you.
