How to use reflect flagging within the form database

Asked by bhanukaran on September 02, 2013 at 04:38 AM

    Hi Team,

I see flagging & unflagging is possible. Unfortunately, is there a way that i can only download entries which are unflagged, or can i achieve this using any other kind of integration using your APIs etc.

    Please help.

We are running a contest, where we may receive thousands of entries, we wil then shortlist them by flagging as a rejection method. Then we want to download only unflagged entries which are considered as shortlisted.

Hello Bhanu, What you stated is correct. Unfortunately at this time we do not yet have any advanced options to control this with flags/no flags. The most you can do right now for this in our System would be to download them all at once and go through it that way or do a Partial Download using the Custom TimeFrame Settings but there is no option for only showing flagged or unflagged in there either. It might be possible to create an API to grab non-flagged submissions to download so you are more then welcome to add it to the API App Request List and perhaps at some point someone might build it. Or if you don't wanna go that route then I can also add this to our Feature Request List here if you like but I wouldn't be able to provide you with any estimated timeframe as to when this might become available if considered.

For now though, the best thing to control this would be through a Hidden Box Field which could be added to your Form. I would suggest adding this at the top of your forms so that it is the first field you see when going through your submissions. This field will only be seen by you the form owner and not the submitter. You can then specify in that box when you edit the submission that the submission is a winner or not a winner but this is just an idea for now if you want to use it.
