    Open Thank You Message in a New Window

    Asked by atr333 on September 03, 2013 at 07:21 PM

    It seems this has changed in the way it works.

    It looks like it just displays the Thank You Message at the end of the page it's currently on.

    I thought that it used to open up a new window.  Is there a way to have the Thank You message open in a new window so it doesn't look like some randomly appearing message on the page where the form was.

    I've enclosed the screen shot of the page after the form is submitted.

    Hello, what you can do is also use the Custom URL option to redirect the user to a different page that displays the Thank you message.

    This guide shows the different options to setup the Thank You Page:

    Now here is another option if you still want to open a new window displaying your Thank You Page.

    For this, you will need to perform coding on your form. So the first step is to get your Form's Source Code.

    Once you have the code for your form will need to edit:

    You will need to add the  target = "_blank" on the form tag line.

    <form target = "_blank" class="jotform-form" action="http://submit.jotform.us/submit/31984886497175/" method="post" name="form_31984886497175" id="31984886497175" accept-charset="utf-8">

    Please try this out and let s know if this solves your issue. Thank for using Jotform.
