I created a form for a membership as a merchant authorization. The credit card info once I get it back doesn’t show the full number. Is there a way I can have it show? I need that info to be able to charge the card.

Hello Josh! I believe that you're referring to this form: https://www.jotform.com/form/203006641414139

Kindly note that we do not allow collection of credit card information using plain text fields on our forms. This is mentioned in our terms:

Your account will be suspended if you do not delete these fields from your form. We have payment authorization feature in some of our payment gateways that allows you to charge users at a later date: how-to-enable-payment-authorization

    Thank you!

So if we do a form with pay pal pro or any of those, I will get access to the credit card number to charge at a later time?

    Hello Josh,

The payment authorization feature will let you process the payment later without the need to access the credit card information. Please note that it's prohibited to acquire credit card information because it's against our Terms of Use, and my colleague advised. Additionally:

JotForm had previously been certified as PCI DSS Service Provider Level 2. Still, as the volume of integrated payments increased, it became a necessary step to upgrade to the highest level of security. Companies that hit a transaction threshold are ultimately held to higher security standards, and rightly so.

Please be guided by our terms to prevent further issues. Thank you.
