Edit embedded form at a later date after submissionAsked by sfadmin on September 16, 2013 at 05:57 PM
I've setup a few embedded forms to capture data for a conference. Everything works pretty good except for one issue.
I see that there's a way to edit the form after submission by adding an edit link in the auto responder email, however I have some concerns that while the initial forms are being filled out on one site, I would have to send them to another site to update information if something needed to be corrected the day after the initial submission.
Due to the nature of the information being captured, persons may have some concerns about the link seeming to send them to a different website despite it being the same form.
Is there any way to use edit mode but within the context of an embedded form?
I'm afraid that this is not possible, the edit link will direct you to the standalone version of the form, I think if the user received the edit link inside the autoresponder it is trustable.,perhaps you can add a notice inside the autoresponder telling that the edit link will redirect them to an standalone version of the form.
