    Calculations

Asked by creativemonster on May 24, 2011 at 10:02 AM

    Hi JotForm,

What an excellent product you have!!

I need to work out how to do calculaions, is this possible?

Basically it's to work out SQ FT.

I need to be able for users to select and add rooms, by size, collect all the info, add it all up then email it to me.

    For instance.

x 2 meeting room (large 150 sq ft)

x 4 meeting room (medium 125 sq ft)

    x 1 kitchen (large 150 sq ft)

x 1 comms room (small 75 sq ft)

If this is possible, that would be amazing, if not, how can we add it, don't mind paying for it to be customised?

Seen one on flash, but ideally better on a platform like yours. (attached on bottom, step 2 of the form)

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,

    Gabriel.

    Hello Gabriel,

Unfortunately this type of function that you are looking for is not available in the tools of Jotform.

What you can do is get the source code of your form and then start coding from there, if you need someone to do some coding for you, you can find a freelance developer in portals such as odesk, freelance.com, scriptlance.com, etc.

To get the source code of your form:

    1. Click Setup & Share tab
    2. Click Embed Form

    3. Under "Display it on your site", click Source

    4. Now copy the code inside the text area field. Or you can click on the link to download the .zip file

Hope you find this information useful.

If you have other questions or concerns, just let us know.

    Thanks,

    liyam
