Conditionally have hidden text appear in email?

Asked by pmaa on September 24, 2013 at 12:37 AM

I'd like to have additional text appear on the email notification but for that text to not be visible on the form.

I have built an order form where the client can select their book pages can be either Plain or Printed. However, if they select Printed I want the email notification to explain what Printed is to the production team. The client knows what it means, but the production team need to know that it involves a few extra steps.

I have attempted this with hidden fields, but the contents of the field appears in the email regardless of any conditions I apply to it.

Can I have text that is hidden on my form, and only appears on the email if conditions are met?

You can create a separate notification in your form for the "Print" option condition and setup an email condition. Example:

Now the conditional notification only fires up if the condition is met.
