    Adding multiple registrants

Asked by Sarah on September 26, 2013 at 10:23 PM

I am creating a student registration form for parents to register their students for extended learning classes.  Once they have registered the first child, I would like to ask:

    Register another child?

If yes, show ba second registration form, but keep a running total of how much all registrants will cost.

If no, show total and go to PayPal.

I'm sure there's an easy way to do this, but I'm stumped.

    Thank you!

By setting up a conditional value on the payment tool you can both calculate the total amount for both children and enable the second field to submit the childs information.

This is my example form to view the working concept:

This is a screencast of how my example for works:

Remember to create the condition you must go to Setup & Embed

    Hi Cesar,

Thank you--this was very helpful.  The issue is that once I show the second child fields, I also need to ask what grade the child is in, as well as which of five classes they would like to register for.

It seems once I add in extra students, my PayPal link just goes to the 'thank you' page instead of connecting to PayPal.

Thanks again for any insight you can offer!

I can see that some of the conditions are not working, I suggest to use "Show" instead of "Hide" as the form is already default to the Hide function and will not show the value unless the condition has been satisfy. I will review the condition and will get back to you once done.

Sorry for getting back late, Upon checking on the form one of the problem that I found is that 1. duplicating the payment method won't work specially if you want to get the running total of the order so in this case you need to use this method. I have made a sample but still thinking on how I can add the option for "Students 2 upto 4". Please take a look at this sample form. I probably update you via this thread once a workaround is available.
