    Not getting email alerts

    Hello,

     

    I notice that I am not receiving my email alerts on new submissions.  This just recently occured, I was receiving them before.  Can anyone tell me what the problem is?  Thanks so much!

    Hi,

    Our recent Email Logs shows that emails were successfully delivered to your email address. Can you please check your Spam Folder, please? 

    Furthermore, I request you to check this guide and follow instructions to prevent email problems to your form: How To Setup Email Alerts To Prevent NOT Receiving Email Alerts. Specially when Whitelisting our Jotmails IP Addresses.

    You can also setup SMTP through Mandrill. Here's how: How to use Mandrill to Send Emails From Your Own Email Address. Setting up SMTP through Mandrill would also help you resolve this issue. This also helps you monitor outgoing and bounce emails from your form.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.  I checked my spam and trash and they were not there, so they weren't delivered.

    As I mentioned I was receiving them before, but am suddenly now not receiving them.  I followed all of the instrunctions from the "how to setup email alerts to prevent NOT receiving email alerts" tutorial and it has not resolved the problem, in fact my setup already reflects the recommendations from this tutorial.  Mandrill seems like it should make what should be a simple task, receiving alerts, arduoud and inefficient, so I don't find it a reasonable solution for me.

    Can we check for another solution please? Thanks!

    Hi there,

    I think there's a typo on one of your form (Bodytonic Pilates Duet & Trio Class Policies ) email recipient.

    The email I see is "nadia@bodytoncpilates.com" which I think supposed to be "nadia@bodytonicpilates.com" with i on "tonic".

    You might have missed that. Kindly review. Thanks!

    Good catch, Elton!  I will fix that on the duet and trio policy form.  Though over the past 24 hours all of my forms have been filled out and submitted by multiple clients and I haven't received an alert from any of them.  The forms that have been filled out are: appointment request, intake, release form, and duet/trio form - again no alerts on any of these.

    Still need a solution, thanks!

    Im having the same problem as Bodytonicpilates.  I have checked everything and cant see why Im not getting my alerts.

    Thanks for your switft response.

    By the way, it seems your other forms has this email recipients as well.

    "nadia@bodytoncpilates.com", still without i on tonic. Kindly them all.

     You might have modified something on your account settings or on your email notifications recently which caused the problem.

    Make sure to correct them, that should fixed it. Thanks!

    Hi Elton,

    I looked at all the forms and I found that error on appointment request form in addition to the Duet/Trio policy form, I corrected it, sent test emails, and the issue is still occuring.  Not receiving email alerts. Though like I mentioned I am experiecing this problem on my 3 other forms as well - that did not have the typo in the recipient email.

    What's the next possible solution?

    How about using noreply@formresponse.com as the Sender Email. We have it as a default aside from noreply@jotform.com.

    I made a clone of your Duet/Trio Policy form and do some test, and I'm able to receive the notification to my custom email just fine. Screenshot below:

    Please kindly contact your service provider and please make sure to confirm that they have whitelisted our email server domains: Whitelisting JotMails IP Addresses.

    Thanks for the reply I tried the alternate @fromresponse address and it did not resolve the issue.  I just contacted my email service provider with the white list info and will let you know of it works.  Thanks!

    Hi Welvin and jotform - we have white listed the IP and domains suggested and I am still not receiving email alerts.  I have to say that I had another issue where the process of resolving it seemed pretty similar to this process; a lot of back and forth with no solution provided in the end and the problem remaining.  I've been testing jotform out as a free user interested in the possibility of purchasing the paid version for more extensive integration into my business.  The customer service options and processes so far prove to be unsuccessful and leave me feeling like the paid version of jotform is not a wise option to take.  I know you all are working hard, but if this issue can't be resolved in a more efficient way I will have to take my business else where.

    Hi,

    After checking our email server logs, I can see that email was successfully delivered to your email address, at least I can confirm that it was delivered without any issues from our servers, as this seems to be not a new problem for you, my advice is to change the recipient email address using other email provider such as gmail or yahoo for a while in order to detect if this issue is related only with your email service provider.
