    How can I remove he url bar from a pop up window?

    Asked by fivetownhoopdreams on October 03, 2013 at 07:44 PM

    Have a contact us form as a popup window, it shows the URL back to jotform, although this site ROCKS!, it looks a little unprofessional...can I hide it?

    I tried addressbar=0 in the code, but didnt work.

    Page URL:

    The URL you provided is not working! Error 404! I think the URL you want to provide is http://www.fivetownhoopdreams.net/Contact-Us.php

    But also what is the URL for the Juan Alcala pop-up page?

    @fivetownhoopdreams

    The spec name should be 'location' and not 'addressbar'. Therefore, your pop-up window code should be:

    http://pastie.org/pastes/8376326/text

    For more pop-up window options, please refer to this page:

    Hope this helps!

    @fivetownhoopdreams... you replied "Thanks guys!" So does that mean you were able to make it work and get the result you wanted? I have been trying to find a solution for you, but don't want to keep at it, if you have already found one. Cheers!

    @Neil ... that code is good but it is still leaving the URL as jotform.com which is what I think the problem is that he is wanting to fix. please see the screenshot of the URL here....

    http://tinypic.com/r/242a7tl/5

    I may be wrong but I think he wants the url to not say form.jotform/us..... etc...

    @fivetownhoopdreams.... what is the URL that the pop-up page points to in your site builder. Not the URL you provided which is the jotform generated URL. What is the actual URL where the contact page is hosted?

    @theenglishhouse

    Just FYI, if you don't wish any info displayed at the top, embed the lightbox code instead. However, don't use the default code. Click the Customize button and then click either the second or third option (highlighted below) before copying the code:

    Did you watch the video? It should have worked just like I showed? Anyway I agree, I think your form looks good now too! How did you set up that form, what template and settings did you use?

    @theenglishhouse

    Judging from the web page source, he just substituted the default form code. This is usually the best way to embed forms, provided there are no conflicts with other scripts on the page. (Which Form Embed Code Should I Use?)

    @fivetownhoopdreams

    You're right, it does look better now. If you don't particularly need a popup, I'd go with that. However, it would be a good idea to bookmark theenglishhouse's video for future reference.

    Anyway, we're glad things worked out to your satisfaction. Should you need further assistance, we'd be happy to help.

    Cheers
