How to create a new form that has aspects of a form I am already using and want to continue to use?

Hi!

I want to keep using a form I have previously made, and now I want to make a new form. In my new form, I want to use some information that I already have in my current form without having to retype it.

Would the easiest way to do this be creating a "clone" of my current form and editing it from here to create my new form? This will not change my current form in any way, correct?
