I need to be able to limit a signup form for time slots to only 10 per slot

Asked by allenajs on October 08, 2013 at 01:45 PM

Is there a way to accomplish this with JF?

We have about 300 submissions we are expecting and need to limit time slots to only 10 per slot on specific days.

Is there a way to present a date to choose and then only present for choice the slots which do not have all 10 slots filled?

    Thanks!

    Submissions thanks

    Hello allenajs,

Unfortunately, there is no built in feature to achieve your requirement.

You can only set the expiration date of your form but enabling it on specific days will not be possible.

One possible solution I can think of is to have separate forms for different slots and set the expiration date and you can also set the submission limit to be 10.

Another possible workaround: What actually can be done is you can embed all your forms for different slots in one single form using free text html field and add a date field corresponding to all your forms. You can actually use conditions to see if the date field has a particular date the display a specific form. We can use the form;s source code to hide the date fields. I can try to create a demo for you, if this solutions is acceptable to you.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

Not sure my explanation is clear....

A user starts the form, is asked which of 2 facilities at which to attend a session.

Next page to display is decided upon by previous answer.

3 different possible days of attending the session are then presented.

A user picks one of those 3 days and moves to next page.

Then they are presented with multiple time slots throughout the day. 9-10, 10-11, etc. as radio buttons.

Would like to be able to limit the presentation of a time slot to a user based upon whether there are or are not 10 users who requested that slot. So if a time slot has 10, don't even show it.

    Does that help?

    Thanks for the time.

    Thanks for contacting us.

Such feature that allows you to accomplish what you need is not in our feature list. Maybe what you need can be accomplished by getting the full source code of your form and  getting some one with codding knowledge to apply some Javascript code. To get the full source code of your form follow the steps in the image:

    Then Just copy the code:
