This is insane ...
How can I change over to the new view if it has a completely different representation of folders
simply ... the folders structure on the new view is entirely different to the old view

in order to back to the old view just follow this link https://www.jotform.com/page.php?p=myforms you can add it to your favorites.
If you need back to the new version, click on "MY FORMS" icon at the top of the screen
Hope it helps
please let us know if you need further assistance

I know all that.
You've answered the question ... How do I go back to the old view?
If you read the question you will see it is entirely different.
What I am saying is that the folder view in the New View is entirely different to that in my Old view.
The folder structure is not updating in a synchronous way.

Hello markashton on behalf of my colleagues we apologize if we did not understand what your inquiry is.
Currently our navigation on our folder structure is designed like this.
You can move forms to corresponding titles by dragging the Form Titles to the folders. JotForms tags them automatically.
You can access the Create Folder, Create New Form, Share Form and other useful functions by hovering the folder and clicking the "down arrow icon"
Can you please provide a screenshot of what you are experiencing on your forms or JotForm navigation. That would really help us better understand your situation. Again we do apologize for any inconveniences. Thank you.

How domyou post a screenshot without hosting it yourself?
The Insert edit function doesn't give you an upload function does it?
- JotForm Supportardy0689Answered on October 10, 2013 at 02:16 PM
I apologize for not mentioning about how to upload an image. Please see this guide on how to upload your screenshot from this forum. I will wait for your screenshot here. Thanks

This top level set of folders in the new view ...
Is entirely different to the folder structure I have on the old version ....
- JotForm Supportardy0689Answered on October 10, 2013 at 02:43 PM
Hello Mark, thanks for that detailed screenshot. I see what you mean. The new navigation that our development team has reorganized the structure based on the how deep they are. You can collapse the folder just like any other folder tree by clicking the arrows on the left.
I saw some similarities on your 2 screenshots. Some of them either you renamed them or has renamed accidentally. I hope not. Most of your remaining old forms are on the archive folder.
I also would like to know if you are missing any folders on the new view. Please let us know so that I can escalate this to our development team. Thanks
- JotForm Supportardy0689Answered on October 10, 2013 at 02:45 PM
I would also like to add that at this moment you can not rearrange the sequence of the folders.

I've never handled any folder management in the new view ...
I change folders and move them around in the old view ...
So the simple fact is that the new view does not synchronise and update wrt the old view.
So .. How can I possibly leave the Old View and move to the New View ... when the jotform folder function is totally broken between the two views?
Pass this to Aytekin please
- JotForm Supportardy0689Answered on October 10, 2013 at 03:29 PM
Hello, Mark. At this point of time, only the development team can address that question. I will escalate this on them for further investigation or atleast add a new feature to for this kind of situation. I will personally message Sir Aytekin on this.

First off don't change a perfectl;y good problem describing headline:
Folders In New View Are Different To That Of Old View
To One That Isn't Correct:
Feature: Folder Structure Positioning Feature
This isn't a feature ... it is a bug.
i would like to move to the new view but can't because the new view does not represent the organisation I have in my existing view.
So ... I'm stuck on the old view ... how the hell has nobody not noticed this
- JotForm FounderaytekinAnswered on October 11, 2013 at 03:14 PM
You are free to use the old version if you would like but you should be aware of these things:
1. We stopped maintaining it. If it gets broken it will not be fixed.
2. Your changes on the old My Forms will not be imported to the new version. And vice versa.
Unfortunately, we cannot keep maintaining the old version. We are just leaving it for people who do not want to use the new version. But, we do not have manpower to support it. And, if the requests continue about the old version we will have no option left other than to shut it down permanently.

Ok ... fair enough ... we both want the same thing ... I want to move to the new view.
I will move and make posts on featues required
