how can I take csv data and get it back into the form layout?

Asked by twig on May 31, 2011 at 04:45 PM

I made a form, tested it and it was great. Then I incorporated it into our website and gathered the data there.  The data is not useful to me, though, because I can't see which questions were asked.  I'd to merge the data back into the great looking form, as I saw it on your site.  How do I do that?

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is not a way to merge external csv data into your form's submission database stored in our servers. Although this 'feature' has been asked a number of times in the past, I am not sure if this has made it past the approval stage.

I figured implementing this could cause a ton of headaches not just for the support team but also for Jotform's users. Then again, that is just my opinion.

We cannot give a lead time or any confirmation whether this will be implemented or not. We will let everyone know if ever it gets completed.

Thank you for understanding. Let me know if there's anything else you need to ask.
