How can I create conditional lists?

Asked by lacosagrafica on October 25, 2013 at 10:14 AM

    Hi!

I need te create a conditional list.

    What I need is:

1.- a first list with sizes

2.- a second list with scales

3.- a resultant field with a calculation. If you choose on thing on the first list, and other thing in second list, then the thirdth value changes.

    I.E.:

    Value 1: 120cm

    Value 2: Small scale

    Value resultant: 70€

    Value 1: 180cm

    Value 2: Big scale

    Value resultant: 270€

    Thanks!

You could probably build this using a Custom Property for Products with a Payment Integration but it would look slightly different so I'm not sure that this is a route you would want to approach this with. It seems that based on your current form you would prefer 2 normal dropdowns with the 3rd as the total.

Unfortunately aside from this our form's do not feature the ability to create calculations unless you do this as a workaround. In doing so it would require the use of the form's source code to build it. One of my colleagues has actually already created something to help with this using dropdowns which I think may work since you are using something similar on your form then you can set your values as you see fit. You can refer to this thread here http://www.jotform.com/answers/202265-Calculate-a-grand-total-on-my-dropdown-form-fields for more details.
