Can't edit conditionals on a clone of a formAsked by bunkle on October 25, 2013 at 07:02 PM
I cloned a form. Then I tried to edit a conditional (so that it would redirect to a new page) and no matter what I do I can not get the form to save any of the changes I made or to add any new conditions. It just simply will *not* save any change I make.
Doesn't seem to be just clones. Can't edit or modify conditionals on the original form. What the hell is going on.
Can you please tell us what form URL that you have been working on? I can't find any form on your username.
You could also try to sign out from your account and clear your browser's caches to prevent saving issues that you are having. Then you can sign in and see if this issue persists.
You can also try to clear or flush your DNS caches by reading this guide 3 ways to Flush DNS. Routers can sometimes store DNS caches and should be cleared as well by unplugging the power for 10 seconds at most and plugging it in again.
We will wait for your reply concerning the Form URL. Thanks
Is form number 32976519767170
Clearing cache does nothing. I click to edit the conditional, and I can edit and modify but clicking on the save button does nothing except click on the save button. (Clicking on the Add Rule button doesn't do anything either.) If I click on the Back button I see the conditional exactly as it was before I editted it.
I can disable the conditional though so that is one button that works.
Hmm, I was able to add a conditional. And then I could edit itbut I couldn't delete it. The when I chose to edit any other conditional I was no longer able to edit the the conditional so no I have a *dumb* conditional I can not get rid of.
Tried editing it in FireFox tried editing it in Chrome, even tried my android smartphone browser. All had the same issues. Edits wouldn't save.
Hello can you please give us what other conditions you are trying to change or edit and what other conditions you would like to add.
I completely remade your form and not by cloning it.
Here is what I found so far:
1. Can't make a rule or condition based on an "Upload field" whether empty or filled
Please let us know the other conditions you want to add or modify so that I can test it on my end to replicate the same issue. After that I will escalate this to our development team. Thanks
All I want to do is create a two forms, one with a conditional "IF Select Your PDF file FIELD is filled THEN REDIRECTO TO http://www.posterpresentations.com/html/CHECK_OUT_BETA.php" and another with the conditional ""IF Select Your PDF file FIELD is filled THEN REDIRECTO TO http://www.posterpresentations.com/html/CHECK_OUT_BETA_button.php".
And, of course I'll want to be able to change these to the actual file names when we are ready to go live.
So what happened? Obviously we were able to create these conditionals and edit them just a few days ago. I'm been working for weeks on this and it's just *today* that I wasn't able to edit these conditionals anymore.
Did I break the Internet... *again*?
I do see that both conditions referr to then same situation, IF Select Your PDF file FIELD is filled .
I have tested adding the conditions to a clone of your form. So far the conditions are being save to the conditional list.
Kindly try at this time to modify the conditions, if not also do try cloning the form and test if the conditions are being saved on the cloned form.
DO let us know if the issu persists. Thank you.
