pay with credit card without creating a paypal account

Asked by pasgreece on October 26, 2013 at 06:35 AM

Hi, is it possible to pay, using my form's integrated PayPal field, with a credit card without creating a PayPal account?

when the form redirects to the PayPal check out page there is no option to pay with Credit Card without creating a PayPal account, allthough in my PayPal account settings I have this option on.

here is a link to a PayPal simplified checkout expirience https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/mer/WAX_landing-outside

i'm also attaching a jpeg with the details

    Hi,

Did you checked if  'Account Optional' is turned on in your PayPal account already? It's suggested on this paypal forum thread as well.

I just tested your payment form here and I am able to see guest payment option so I think there must be some limitations on your end.

To my research, guest checkout option with Paypal is only available for up to 15 CC transactions. After that point, you will need to sign-up your CC with paypal. I'm not certainly sure about this, I was just basing users experiences found at google.

    Thanks!
