Appointment Field: The selected appointment slot cannot be canceled or removed from existing submissions

    We used to be able to edit forms once a customer has submitted one into jotform. This step is crucial on our end. As of last-night, it won't allow me to do it correctly. I usually want to edit their time of appointment. I can "x" out the time but once I submit it, on Jotform is stays the same, but in my email notification it will show the new time/date as the time/date that I tried to edit it. Very weird. Please help us with this ASAP!!!

    Hello,

    I tried editing my submission and it is working fine.

    To my understanding, you edited the submission with the appointment field. You pick a new time but it shows the same on the live form. Is that correct?

    I cleared your form cache on our server. Could you please check if the issue still persists? If yes, please let us know what time is that so we can try and replicate the issue.

    It's still not working. To clarify: I go into "edit form" and I delete the appointment off of the calendar or edit it to a new time for a patient then submit that edited form. then I go back to that same patient and the appointment has not been deleted or edited to the new time. It's for every single patient. We are completely unable to edit an appointment right now. Up until yesterday we could easily edit an appointment

    Could you please provide the form link so we can check it further?

    I made a test and I canceled the 9:00 am reservation and edit it to 11:00 am. It is working fine on my end. Please check the screencast of my test and let us know if there's anything we need to do in order to replicate the issue.

    You need to add your email address to receive the autoresponder email and edit the submission. After that, please open the form again and see if the appointment field is updated.

    I have two different forms. Both of them are still having the issue I described above.

    Something has happened. I was able to edit appointments up until Friday evening then all of the sudden I couldn't anymore. It appears I can edit other parts of the form, but for some reason it doesn't save changes I make to the appointments. Can I talk to someone on the phone? I really need this resolved ASAP. My business is relying on my ability to edit these forms.

    I'm happy to provide you with my login info so you can login as me and see what setting is screwed up. Thanks for your help. I just need this resolved today.

    Thanks for patiently waiting. I can't seem to replicate the issue on my cloned form. What I did is sent a test submission and then edit the appointment in the tables.

    Could you please tell us how you're editing your form? We'll try to replicate it with the same steps from our end.

    Also, for your account security, please don't share your login credential with anyone, including us. We, as support can check your forms/tables without needing your login credentials.

    This is so frustrating. If we could actually speak on the phone I think we could get this resolved. And certainly a lot faster. Here's what I do:

    I click on "edit entry"

    I scroll through the form until I get to the calendar

    In blue below the calendar it shows the date and time the person signed up for

    I hit the "x" on the right side of that blue bar to cancel the appointment

    I scroll through the rest of the form

    I hit submit

    I go back to the person and they still have that same appointment that I just deleted.

    I'm begging you to fix this. Please just do a phone call. You can do a logmein or whatever so you can see it for yourself. This doesn't need to be this hard. This is so critical for us. We have hundreds of people counting on this calendar system for their covid vaccine. Surely there is a way for us to call

    I see that you are cancelling the appointment like this(see the screencast below).
    1612151584_60177b2038d5f_nQ5L7Mqo4l.gifAs far as I know, deselecting or clicking the X on the selected appointment should cancel the appointment/selected date if the appointment field is not set as required.

    Not sure if this is normal, but the appointment appears to have an issue when cancelling or deleting the selected slot in existing submissions. I have now elevated this issue to the next level support so that they can investigate the problem. We will notify you here and on your email at once when a status update is available.
