This is related to the new modal functionality that enables images to fire up in lighbox on grid reports ... a great addition.
Yesterday there was a loop problem observed when switching this setting on for existing grid reports with images.
I think existing grid reports might be a bit twitchy if you turn the modal setting on to fire up images in lightbox ... but I haven't been able to reproduce the issue with new reports created.
Could I request that Support try this function and see if there is a problem with new reports ...
My small tests have shown no problem ... but as the functionality has just been integrated we should catch it early

So far, no issue to my end. Works well without any problems. Here's an example Grid Report from my form:

Just in case you'll find any issues with this function, please let us know so we will let our developers know about it. Specially Kenneth who is assigned to this task.

No ... this crap keeps happening ...

In Chrome ... In Firefox ... takes a client to tell me ...
There is always something wrong with this service ... I'm absolutely fed up with you lot making me look a total amateur to my clients.
Please fix ...

In the meantime, you might consider recreating affected reports.

That would be fine Mike if I lived in a vacuum ... and time was not an issue.
Your suggestion works ... but I can't show my client because all the custom domains on my reports have stopped working as per here:
This issue keeps happening anyway ... there's something fundamentally wrong with these f......... reports

I just tested Welvin's demo report from above posted on the 1st November ...
This just loops for me in all browsers constantly....
So the basic reporting functiion of Jotform is broken still ?
