    Hi there,

We have heard that people are not successful in submitting responses using this form - https://form.jotform.com/210248099169159. Kindly provide us with a way forward. This is the first time using this form module and the error is concerning.

    Hello!

Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I have tested a clone of your form, and it worked.

May we know what kind of error your user's are getting? Have you received any screenshot from them?

    We will await your response.

I am able to replicate the same error when I cloned your form and tested it.

Let me escalate this to our back end team to check further. Once there is an update we will inform you via this ticket.

Meanwhile, please create a new field and check if that causes an error. You may Hide the existing field on the form.

Thank you for looking into this. It is possible that this is the source of the concern. If I adjust a survey for which there are already observations, will this cause the concern?

Sorry, but could you explain your last response?

Do you mean editing existing submissions?

If I temporarily add a field and then remove it. Any updates on the form?

    Hi there!

If you remove a field on the form, you will lose previously submitted data linked to that field. On the other hand, adding new fields to the form will not cause any damage.

I hope this answers your questions. Do not hesitate to contact us with more details in case not.

That's good to know. Then, I did nothing wrong. The form is still not working. I am concerned because we are evaluating Jotforms and concerned that there are issues with reliability. Kindly offer a solution.

The issue is related to the required field validation on the Fill in the blanks field on card forms.

If you disable the required option, then the form works fine.

Otherwise, try using separate fields on the form for accepting the data.

    Example: https://form.jotform.com/210337693320955

If this would work out for you in the meantime, you may clone this into your account: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-how-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-a-url

Thank you for sharing. It seems like it is a bug then because I would assume required fields would work. Also, that fix still does not work with the form.

Our goal is to have it be in fill in the blank format so it is easy to fill.
