I have a jot form that was set as a yearly subscription for a partnership. I was unaware that it would automatically renew the following year. I would like to go back and mark this as a donation on the form. My question is, once I do that is it going to refund those that have already subscribed?

Hi, thank you for contacting JotForm support.
Please note that JotForm does not process any payment or refund made on your form. All payments and refunds are processed using our payment processors.
In your case, you need to issue the refund from your payment gateway manually. Here's an article about refunds on Square that may help you: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5060-process-refunds
Once you have given the refund, you may edit the submission on your submission page. https://www.jotform.com/help/325-How-to-Edit-Submissions-Made-on-Your-Forms
I hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

So If I don't want to refund them, I just don't want it to automatically charge them in a year, I can just change it on the form now for the future registrants?

Hi there,
Happy to help!
Yes: if you'd like it to just be the one-time payment, you may change this on the form and then ensure that it is reflected in your payment processor as well as JotForm will draw from the subscription you have set up within your payment processor.
Please let us know if we can assist further.
