Appointment: Show message before the submission if the selected date is already picked.

    Hi I have a scheduling form set up for patients first COVID vaccine. I would like to make their second appointment when they are here and them later have them fill out the questionnaire when it's closer to the second dose. Currently I have to appointment set up within the form. Is there a way to set up the second appointment when they are here for the first dose and have that time slot block off for other patients scheduling online?

    To clarify: are you wanting to have a form to book in their second appointment at the time that they attend their first appointment?

    Or, are you wanting to block off that time automatically without booking the appointment as a type of "hold"? Currently, this is only possible by actually booking the appointment, but we can submit a feature request with our development team. Prior to that, however, if you could elaborate a bit more on how you'd like the second appointment to be "blocked off", we could find a potential workaround and better inform our development team.

    I would like to book their second appointment when they come for their first dose and make sure as those slots are booking they are not available for others in the future since that time should be booked.

    Hi again,

    Thank you for clarifying!

    Currently, the appointment is not held until the form is submitted; however, I have opened up a feature request with our developers to see if we could potentially have the appointment field sense when an appointment is selected and block it off so that it cannot be booked by anyone else.

    I cannot guarantee that this will indeed be implemented; however, when/if our team has an update for you, we will communicate it to you here.
