Ordering same size products but in different colors

I have our order form set up.

The only thing I have run across that is an issue is that if they want to order more than 1 of an item in the same size but different colors I do not see that is possible.

Will you please tell me if there is a way to do that without them having to place multiple orders?

    Thanks,

    Amy

    Greetings Amy,

Yes, that's quite possible. Please follow this guide below and create sub-products based on color option:

Create Sub-Products Based on a Product Option

Please check and let us know if you have further questions.

    Thank you!

    OK

I have already sent the link out on printed order forms. If I go in and modify my order form will my link change?

    Hi there,

No, the link to your form will not change, your link will remain the same regardless if modified.

I hope this answers your query. Let us know if you have other questions.

    Thank you.

I have looked through the link that was sent and I still can not figure out what changes I need to make to my form to fix the issue of not being able to add say 2 large t-shirts, 1 gray, and 1 black.

Will you look at the way my form is currently set up and advise, please.

    Hi there!

Unfortunately, we don't have a feature or option that you can enable on the Product list element that'd allow you to select " 2 large t-shirts, 1 gray, and 1 black".

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best,

So to accomplish that I would need to rework my whole order form?

Is it possible to list the Colors where my sizes are and list each color multiple times having a dropdown for quantity and size as the variable items?

    Hello!

    - The only thing I have run across that is an issue is that if they want to order more than 1 of an item in the same size but different colors I do not see that is possible.

Following is how you can implement this functionality in your existing form:

    http://shots.jotform.com/patrick/Screencast%202021-02-07%2012-18-52.webm

In the above screencast; it is shown how you can configure the product item to order 1 gray, 1 black colored t-shirt, both of size AL.

This is the form that has been prepared in the screencast: https://www.jotform.com/210371499123958

    Feel free to test it.

I hope this solves your purpose. Let us know if this doesn't or if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!

    Patrick_R,

Thank you - that is closer but still has limitations. That allows you to order 1 of each color in various sizes but takes away the ability to order multiple sizes of the same color. :(
I need both of these options because maybe someone wants 1 large gray and 1 3XL Gray and 1 small black. Is that possible?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello there,

You can set it up like so:

    161272388520210208 025057 Screenshot 10

Where the sub-product is a counter, and the color, size, and quantity are options.

Here’s a demo form with the setup above applied: https://form.jotform.com/203335097475055. Feel free to clone the form and use it as you please.

THANK YOU all for your help!!!

It took me a little bit to get it figured out, as this is the first time I have used Jot Form, but I got it set up to do what I needed.

Thanks again for all your help!
