Matrix no inputting data to Google Spreadsheet

Asked by rugbyref on November 06, 2013 at 09:57 PM

    Hi JotForm team

I'm trying to get a form with several matrixs to work

The matrixs are pretty basic - a 5x5 type thing. In the email that you receive after you've submitted the form, you have the data you inputted presented perfectly, but in the Google spreadsheet, nothing happens. No data appears from the matrix, though all other info you provide comes through fine

I want to use the radio option but I've also tried the checkbox and dropdown options and neither work.

I've also tried reintegrating the spreadsheet, and this is where it gets weird. If I reintegrate the spreadsheet, all the past submissions the form has received, has the data from the matrix, on the new sheet, but no new submissions show any matrix data until you reintegrate the spreadsheet once again.

The only conclusion I can come to is that it might be a bug at your end. Are you able to have a look at this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

I was able to replicate the problem with your form, when you perform the integration, new submissions come out empty on the matrix fields in google spreadsheets.

When You remove the integration and perfom it again and the submissions that had missing data on the matrix fields now show their respective data.

    Your Cloned Form:

This does not happen on a sample submission form, in which case i would suggest (if you are pressed on time) to create a new form (not a clone) and recreate the forms and test the integration.

This is my Example Form with Spreadsheet integration, it did sync after integration.

Nevertheless, at this time I will go ahead and raise a ticket in regards to the issue discussed. This way the Development Team can evaluate which steps to take. Once they have an update on the matter, they will let us know through this thread. Thank you.

Ok thanks for that. Looks like I'll just stsrt a new form from scratch. Hopefully the problem doesn't occur on that form as well

    Thanks again

Google spreadsheets integration was broken for a couple of hours. Could you please let us know if the problem is still there.

If this is not fixed, I assume that it is the time format (matrix column) causing the issue and fix it accordingly.

    Hi

The problem is still present. I've since made another form, laid out exactly the same (but not a clone) and the problem with the matrixs not imputting data still exists

When you say "I assume that it is the time format (matrix column)" what do you mean by this?

    Thanks

This was caused by the dots in labels and it should be fixed by now.

    Hi:

I have the same problem with matrix updating the spreadsheet.

I use dropdown options in matrix, since I have the coice of using it, and I did several tings such as reintegrating google spreadsheet, changing the captcha, removing all the special character, rebuilding the form, etc.

    The problem is STILL THERE.

    Any solution?
