100MB available space for free service question

    I just started using Jotforms.com    Wow!  Awesome service guys.

      I just started my online presense for my design business I am taking on myself and I have created a form that includes file upload for my customers.  I see that I have 100MB allocated under my FREE SERVICE. 

    My question is when customers upload files to the form and the form goes to my email address is that also stored on your end?  Meaning do the amount of emails and file uploads collect on your server and take up space, or do I have the ability to delete the file uploads once I have recieved what I need from my customers?

    Hello skelniktoday,

    First of all, welcome to jotform!  And thank you also for posting your inquiry.

    To answer your question:  Yes, once a submission has been made, it all goes to Jotform's servers.  The email notification that's been sent to you still goes to the link back to Jotform.  And yes, you have the ability to delete your submissions.  Just to go the submissions page and select the submissions you want to delete fro the list.  You might consider downloading them before you delete them in your submissions page.

    For easier way of downloading submissions from your form, you might want to consider signing up for Dropbox as well.  Install their application and you can set your form to automatically submit to your dropbox account all the submissions that you receive.  You can set this also on the submissions page of your form.

    You can also set your form to use FTP going to your own personal web/file server.  You can set this in your submissions page as well.
