Input Mask but of varying length

Hi. I would like to create an input mask for a text field that requires the first two characters to be alpha, but the rest can be alphanumeric. It is of varying length so it cannot be a strict input mask. Is there any solution for this?

In the interim, I do have a potential workaround for you. You could insert two single choice fields side by side and have one with the Input Mask of the two alpha characters and the other open:
