Getting correct Jotform referral sources in Google Analytics

    Hello, I have spent quite some time reading and trying various support answers about how to implement proper Google Analytics conversion source tracking for a jot form on our website, but it is still not working properly. At this point, my goal conversions show as "medium (none)" and "source (direct)".

    The URL that hosts the form is as follows: https://parkwayopticalboutique.com/request-appointment/

    Here's what I have done so far in the implementation:

    1. Google Analytics Widget added to the form with our GA tracking ID entered and https://parkwayopticalboutique.com/thank-you entered for cross domain auto linking.
    2. https://parkwayopticalboutique.com/thank-you?utm_nooverride=1 set up as the "thank-you" redirect.
    3. Set up hipaa.jotform.com and jotform.com as excluded referral domains in GA.

    What else should I be doing to get this to work?

    Hi there,

    Could you please tell us more about the issue exactly? You only mentioned that it is not working properly. Please tell us that how does the source appears in GA so we can this further.

    Thank you for your prompt response.

    When I was testing my implementation and checking my GA goal conversions in "Realtime", their referral sources were only showing as "medium (none)" and "source (direct)" rather than google/organic, which was the way I was accessing the form.

    However, after checking GA today and looking back at my goal conversions for yesterday it is now showing google/organic for the last 3 conversions I tested after taking all implementation steps.

    I think there must be some kind of delay in how GA reconciles traffic sources and goal conversions. Anyway, I believe it is working but will reach out if there are any more issues. Thanks!
