Hello. When a form is completed by a client, is the content typed into the form maintained as private and confidential through the Jotform platform even though I am not a health care provider? My clients will be providing private and confidential information and is the same level of protection provided regarding the content submitted in non-HIPAA compliant forms? Thank you for the information regarding the security of data submitted in forms.

    Hi there,

Please read the following note about the security of the forms:

"Regardless of your plan, all your forms are served across protected 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection that uses a SHA256 Certificate. This is the same level of protection used by online banking or e-commerce providers."

If you want to apply encryption on your form to make sure that only you can access it then you can enable an extra layer of encryption from your form builder settings. But before you do that please read the following guide carefully.
