Linking Four Forms in a row on a webpage

Asked by walkingtreetravel on November 08, 2013 at 05:52 PM

    Hello,

I am trying to link five of my jotforms so that when you click on the final NEXT button on the first one, it takes you to the second form, then NEXT, then third form, then NEXT, etc. The names and progression order for these forms should be:

Clone of Master Participant Application - Emergency Contact Information - Guardian One Information - Guardian Two Information - Teacher Reference One - Teacher Reference Two

I currently have it setup so the thank you page for each of the above takes you to a custom URL, which containts the url for the next jotform in the above order. It will let me go from the Participant Application to the Emergency Contact, but once I click next to go to the Guardian 1 form, it just goes to the below thank you page and doesn't let me continue through the system to the final three forms.

Any suggestions? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I have put a link to the old form on here.

SIDENOTE: I need all five of these forms as separate items so that when they link to our CRM (zoho) each of them is entered as a new lead, and if I have all of the fields from all five forms on the same form, it will only register as one lead. Bottom line, I need these as separate forms.

Hello Paul. Thank you for posting your inquiry here.

Yes that is possible if you are having troubles with Thank you redirect method.

This will need you to use the "Free Text(HTML)" tool as well as the "Page-break" tools throughout the process.

This is the main idea as shown on the image

I will test this further using your forms if we can pursue this without conflicts. I will get back to you as soon as I have finished my testing.

    Thanks

This is if they are all on one form, just multiple pages, correct? We need the form to submit every time they press NEXT on the form. It has to process through as a new form, not just a new page in the same form.

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

This is if they are all on one form, just multiple pages, correct?

-Yes, that's right. You are just embedding all these forms into a main form.

We need the form to submit every time they press NEXT on the form. It has to process through as a new form, not just a new page in the same form.

-Unfortunately this is not possible with Jotform. I am not quite sure if this is doable via source code embedding since the form has to reload or redirect to the thank you page on every submission so this is most likely not possible with the form. However if my colleagues has any idea about this, they'll surely share it to you here.

If we can help you with anything else, do let us know. Regards!

We are trying to essentially out a new embed code to a new link on every thank you page to the next form.

    Hi Paul,

You may consider using the same method from the first two forms to the last three forms. Setup Custom URL so after you submit to the form, it will redirect you to the 3rd form and so on...then of course, you can have the Thank you Page https://www.walkingtree.org/forms/student-app-thank-you/ to the last form.

This should work while everyone is thinking of the possibility of having workarounds.

    Thanks
