Dynamically Edit Drop Down Menu

I have several drop down menus that use the same data and would like to be able to sync them together so I don't have to change the data in each one when making a change.  Can this be done?  Can I import this data to the drop down menus from a database.

Unfortunately there is no option within the JotForm Form Editor, that will allow you to dynamically edit the Drop Down Menu.

Nevertheless you can still download the full source code and edit the functionality of your form so that it performs your desired task.

I do know that you are able to edit the dropdown menu with framework like AngularJS for example, take a look at how you can edit the Option 1 on the Drop Down menu of this form.

If you need further assistance. Do let us know. Thank You.

I know jotform updates it`s feature .Now it is possible to  import  data to the drop down menus and delete data from drop down menu.

    Hello busywith24,

I am not sure if you want to load and remove the data in drop down field dynamically from an external source? Unfortunately it is not possible to load the data form any external source into your form fields.

As my colleague have already suggested in his answer above, you can download your form's source code and add custom script to populate data dynamically.

You may also like to check the "Dynamic Dropdowns" widget and see if this meets your requirement but again it will not load data from any external source.

    Hope this answers your query.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
