Input table questions

We currently have students choosing their top elective choices from an input table. They should only be able to choose one response per column. At this time a student can choose as many as they want and this will cause issues. How can limit their responses to one to a column on the input table?

Also, how do we require students to input 7 numbers in the student id section as opposed to more or less? How can we make it so they cannot put letters in the ID section of the survey.
