Contact form submitting without mandatory fields being filled

Hi there,

We have created a JotForm which has mandatory fields which are required to be filled before the user can submit. However, the form is still allowing the user to submit without all these fields being completed despite it looking like it is mandatory/red asterisked in Jotform.

The form in question is the "Wedding Contact Form" in our account.

This issue is occurring in both the Jotform 'preview' as well as our live site.

Can you please help with this?

It looks like a glitch. I have made a duplicate of your form here that I could get work properly: https://form.jotform.com/210461723493958.

I achieved this by removing the custom CSS, saving the form, then adding the CSS again.

Could you try this and let us know if it worked on your end?

Yes this looks like it's working in testing - thank-you. I'll pass on to our developers to see if this works on the live website too.

I noticed there's an 'error' banner message at the top of the screen though which says 'There are (x no. of) errors in this page. Please correct them before moving on.' Is there a way to remove this banner?

Where in 'My Forms' can I find the duplicate form that you made? Will need to get the code to put it onto our website.

Regarding the error banner it only shows up if a mandatory field is missed, to hide this alert you need to set the Show error navigation on forms option to No in the form settings as you can see in the below screenshot.
