Hi I have a couple questions:
where exactly is this data being stored?
how is it confirmed that it is secure - per the faq's
Yes, your data belongs to you. We do not share or sell any user data. We also do not access your data for any non-administrative purposes.

We store uploads on Amazon S3 and submissions in our database. There is no password protection on upload links, but they are not public, so if someone get the link to some uploaded file, he/she will be able to download it.
With regards to the receiving of data, You have option where you can select if you want the form data to be secured. You can use the secure / SSL form URL or embed script.
