I have created a form for photographers to upload their images to. On of the file upload links I have aloud to upload 25mb. Is this the reason for the slow email opening? If so is their a solution to get large files onto the forum and sent to myself. It is the top listed form in my list.

I have cloned your form "TEST Photographer's Image Name and Description Document" and upload some high resolution images 4*** x 2*** or above to see if this replicates the issue. on my own email.
However, I failed to replicate this issue on both my Thunderbird email client and directly from my Gmail account. I can click the link and download the images with ease.

I have checked your submission on this form and the images are peaking only from below 1mb and above 1mb. Not a large file to slow down loading emails.
One thing I know that slows down loading of emails are antiviruses which scans them prior to loading. Kindly turn them off and test it on your end if it is still doing this.
Another possibility are plugins on your desktop email client like my Thunderbird. Overtime plugins tend to slow down and create unusual behaviors on the emails. Please disable any plugins on your email desktop client or addons/plugins on your browser.
