We are confronted with the following situation: a class of students is filling in a form and three student press Submit almost simultaneously from various PCs (with different IP addresses). It turns out that only one response reaches the database. (So two responses are lost.) Only one Email alert will be received in which each field will contain 3 responses (the responses from all three students)! Can you think of a solution? For instance, is it possible to let the timestamp be leading instead of the IP address?

Thanks for contacting us about the issue. Upon checking your forms, it seems that your Sender Name is empty. Without the correct configuration or leaving the email settings empty would caused to an issue of not receiving email alerts.
Please kindly correct that by following our recommendations from this article: How To Setup Email Alerts To Prevent NOT Receiving Email Alerts & Bouncing Issues.

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, I don’t think this solution will resolve the issue. We have JotForm 2.0 and now 3.0 installed on our own servers at Leiden University. We do receive Email Alerts, but some responses will not be received by the database when senders press the submit button at about the same time.

Thanks for the additional information. I thought you have a problems with your forms created to us. So, it seems that you have the license version of Jotform installed to your own server. Unfortunately, our knowledge with the license application is limited so I would suggest directing that particular inquiry to email@example.com. The Licence App team would be able to respond to this kind of inquiry.
