How do I add clickable Edit submission text to an email autoresponder message?

I have an autoresponder set up that includes the edit link for a submitted form (see screenshot). However, in the email the link displays as the URL, not as clickable text. I tried wrapping it in an H ref tag, as follows:

    ...please visit this link.

but that just gave me a malformed email that looked like this:

    ...please visit http://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=33353688494972&sid=251827399031809231&mode=edit"> this link.

I'd like the "this link" part to be clickable text that goes to the URL specified.

    Thank you for contacting us.

This is possible to create the Edit URL manually. Your Edit URL will be:

    http://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=33353688494972&sid={id}&mode=edit

So the complete html link is:

    <a target="_blank" href="http://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=33353688494972&sid={id}&mode=edit" >this link</a>

Please try it to see if this is working as expected.
