    Hi Guys

i can i have info populated from 1 form into another form based on the info of a dropdown list.

i have several forms that i have the name address and contact details of the companies i provide training for, i currently access this info via an embedded excel spreadsheet.

but if i want to add a new company I have to modify the excel sheet and upload to all my form manually.

so what I'm asking if i have a new form that i input the company data into can i link the forms to that form to get the company info on the selection of a company from a dropdown or another way.

    hope this makes sense.

    colin

    Hi @BuryTrainingServices

    Thank you for reaching us.

You can use our Field Prepopulator Integration to pre-populate fields on your forms. Please see the steps and the screencast below to use the integration:

    1. I have used the New Customer Registration Form Template from our template page as an example.
    2. I simply went to the integration page and clicked "Open Integration" button (You should Allow integration from the opening pop-up screen to reach your forms before start using it).
    3. Then clicked the "Populate Fields" button below. This will open "Form Picker" pop-up screen.
    4. Selected the "New Customer Registration Form" and clicked "Continue" button below.
    5. I wanted to pre-populate address section for this form. So I simply entered the address information on the form and clicked the "Generate URL" button from the top of the page.
    6. If you paste the URL obtained from the integration on another tab, you will see that this will open the submission page for your form and the fields you have filled before will be including the data, so you will not need to fill them again. Just save the URL for next submissions. You can also send the links you obtained from the Field Prepopulator integration to your regular customers for their convenience, so they will not need to enter their information repeatedly.

    Dear

I have had a very quick look at your response but i don't think it's what i need.

i have created a clone form to work with:- name test

on tab 2 (employers details) the section contains the employer's detail. https://form.jotformeu.com/210773169230351

i would like to have this data loaded from the form named:- New Customers https://eu.jotform.com/build/201323001745338

if we could do this by typing the first few letters of the company name or via a drop-down as long as i don't have to keep editing the excel file every time i have a new client.

    hope this makes sense

currently, i have data loaded via an excel sheet that i have to edit every time i have a new client

    Greetings.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to load data from the form from other forms or tables. Currently, the only way to update the uploaded Excel manually.

I will forward this to our developers as a feature request, and as soon as we hear back from them. Unfortunately, we are unable to let you know if or when this will be implemented.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
