how to duplicate a product and its options in the paypal payment tool?Asked by ylorange on December 05, 2013 at 01:23 AM
hi, really need some help here. I try to duplicate a product and its options in the paypal payment tool but I don't know how. I need ten of them and really don't want to type in everything 10 times. Thank you in advance.
or if there's way to add text field in the payment tool?
I am sorry, but that's not possible. You have to create each product on the payment tool as of now. Also since every products has different pricing and names, why would you not create it one by one? I think that's the same when you duplicate the product and edit each of the product options :). However, we will try to consider your request about duplicating products but I couldn't guarantee you of its implementation.
I agree that this could be useful.
For example, I am setting up a seminar series as my product. Once I set the prices and options in one, I would like to duplicate it and then just insert the new seminar title.
That would be much faster than setting-up all the options 10+ times when the only difference is the title and date of the event.
Thanks for considering it,
Kindly create a separate thread with regards on your query for further assistance.
Agreed, the ability to duplicate a product would be helpful. I have 1 product with the same description and options but are priced differently at different times of the year, if I could duplicate an existing product and simply change the prices it would save me a TON of time.
The other option is to add additional pricing flexibility in the tool
I have moved your question to separate thread and we will provide you an answer there shortly.
