I know that you've had many a query on this but just to let you know that the Folders part of the account seems to be still rather full of bugs.
This has affected more than one account of ours. You can put forms in a folder and a few minutes later, they've moved themselves to the bottom of the list again. It doesn't make a difference what browser you use or if you move the forms by drag'n'drop or right-click > 'Move to a Folder'.
As a temporary fix, I'm going to re-title my forms with their department/folder as a prefix so that they are easier to find in the interim and that may be useful to others similarly afflicted perhaps.
Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong, tips of different ways to move forms into folders or updates on a bugfix release would be gratefully received.

Thank you for reporting this.
I will submit a ticket to the development team and let them know about this problem. I just won't be able to provide a specific time to when this problem is going to be fixed. You will hear from them once it is done.
Thank you for your patience.

Hey I am having the same problem, whenever I create folders eventually they seem to disapear and it goes back to the normal everything in alphabetical order???

As stated above that this problem has already been resolved, if you don't mind could you tell us what browser and its version did you use? Also, have you tried it on other browsers? We also suggest to clear your browsers cache before creating folder's for your form. We will wait for your response.

...and my carefully ordered folders have all disappeared again. Any ideas why our paid for account keeps losing it's folders? It's very frustrating.

Unfortunately, it is hard to replicate your issue.
Can you please confirm that this problem is happening from time to time? What internet browser do you use? Do you access your account from different places at the same time?
Any additional information would be much appreciated.

It does happen from time to time which is the most frustrating part, I just get comfortable to the ease of using folders to sort through our various forms and they disappear again.
I'm using Firefox with a clean history and accessing via www.jotformpro.com. However, the account can be accessed from a variety of places and, very occasionally, may be accessed by the boss and myself at the same time.
Is that the cause of the problem? The account can't be accessed by the owner and their administrator at the same time or it will lose data? In which case, I won't create new folders. But could it work okay if we each use one of your different domains?
Although, most importantly, if its already lost the folder list, is it losing any other data? In which case, and you think that the dual access is the cause of the fault, I'll have to schedule time to work on the forms when the boss will know to stay clear of Jotform.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello Sarah. Opening the My Forms page on multiple tabs, browsers, or in different computers all at the same time will prevent your My Forms page to actually save the edits that one person is doing as it will just be overwritten on the other tab or browser or computer. The same would happen if you open it on different domains but at the same time.
- Sarah SeamanqAnswered on May 21, 2012 at 10:52 AM
Thanks for the reply. 'Saving edits' I understand and understand that there could be an issue if we were both working on the same form at the same time. ....but losing every single folder overnight? I don't even know how to delete a folder and am pretty sure that my boss doesn't have time to go through each and every folder to delete it, while still keeping the forms safe.
...and if it's not us doing it on purpose.....? You appreciate my concern.

You can probably try to clear your browser's cache again and observe to make sure that no incomplete temporary internet files that can cause your browser's view to update properly.
Another possible thing that you can look into is the selected tab view of the page.
You may have left it on a different view and your boss might have selected a different one so when you got back to the page, you're viewing it and might have thought that the forms and folders got lost.
For the meantime, please do take time to observe your account. You can also see the list of the last five edited forms at the bottom-right of the My Forms page if in case you couldn't find it on the actual list view.

I use Firefox as my 'clean' browser for testing in situations just like these. It doesn't store history so there's no cache to clear so that's not the problem.
...and I am aware of the difference between 'Main' and 'All' views. Although, unfortunately, now that the folders have disappeared, there is no difference now.
No difference if I try it with a different browser so I think I'll steer clear of folders from now on. Thanks anyway.

I have made some more tests, but I was not able to reproduce your issue on my own account. However, I think that the problem is somehow related to multiple access at the same time.
This is not a common problem, so I think that we will need more time to catch the bug, if there is any.
If you notice any strange behaviour, please let us know.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

i have the same problem repeating for 5-6 times. every time refoldering the forms is getting harder. i believe the problem repeats because I and my brother connect the jotform at the same time. is it a simple sollution?

Please accept my apologies on regards to the issues and inconveniences .We are running a new round of platform implementation and I am not sure if this might be related to it.
Please open a new thread so I can submit a ticket for your particular case to our Developers Team
