    How to change the background colors for the rich text area?  When using a text area in my form and allowing for rich text, changing the background colors does not work in all browsers and OSs.

    Hi there,

    Use the following CSS codes and inject it to your form.

    .nicEdit-main, #cid_10 > div:nth-child(2) {

    background-color: pink;

    }

    Guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/117-How-to-Inject-Custom-CSS-Codes

    The background color should reflect on the live view so you have to preview your form.

    If you require further assistance, let us know here.

    Sorry, I think I have misunderstood your question. The pointer isn't close enough so I guess I've missed that. :)

    Anyway, if you're referring to the background on the formatting tool bar, may we know what browsers it won't work? I am running on Windows 7 OS, and I have tried it on Chrome, Firefox, IE9 and 10, and they seem to work just fine. Can you list out the OS and browser it won't work? We'd greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

    Yes, I'm referring to the background on the formatting tool bar.  It's not working on the following:

    1. Windows 8 OS

    Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE 10

    2. Windows Vista Home Premium OS

    Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, IE9
