How can we make sure we get a unique reference from our clients all the time?
As from our form, if you choose query type - '' our own'', then the next question is what our clients enter. How can be make sure they dont repeat it?
I tried to make it unique by - preference - form limits- unique question - '' your reference''. But doesnt seem to work? Kindly help. Thanks for reading.

From my understanding, what you need is to prevent your form users to enter the same value in the field YOUR REFERENCE, is that correct?
If so, the Unique Question function in the Preference menu will work for you. However, it is not working for you because you are using Input Mask for the Text box and the Unique Question function only works with "fields that have a single Text box"
So, I would recommend you to remove the input mask and then enable the Unique question function. I tested it in one of my forms and it worked correctly.
You can learn more about our Unique Question feature at this guide: How to set Form Limits Based on a Unique Question

HELLO JOT FORM SUPPORT
THANKS FOR THE REPLY. YES ACTUALLY ' YOUR REFERENCE' IS ENTERED BY OUR CLIENTS AT DIFFERENT PLACES. SO THEY CAN CHOOSE ANY REF THEY LIKE AS PER THE SET CRITERIA. THIS REF IS USED FOR TRACKING LATER. SO IF THEY HAVE USED REF ' ALD 00001' AND SUBMITTED THE FORM ONCE. THE NEXT TIME THEY MUSTNT BE ABLE TO SUBMIT 'ALD 00001' AS THEY HAVE USED THE SAME REF FOR PREVIOUS SUBMISSION. HOPE THIS HELPS.
