HIPAA - login works in API test page but not via PHP code

If I use the Try It Out button on https://api.jotform.com/docs/#user-login the login works perfectly fine and displays our account information.

If I use the php API, the only response I get back is: HIPAA -> 1 and I am not logged on.

If it works on your web page I should be able to login using my php code. How do I get this working?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I believe it's not possible to log in to a HIPAA compliant account via API due to due to HIPAA privacy regulations.

Try logging in to a regular account via the API, see if the issue persists.

If you have related questions, you can reach the API time at api@jotform.com

If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

any update on this? API vs User login shouldn't matter for HIPAA. Can JotForm support please clarify if this feature is supported on HIPAA accounts? if not what's the workaround?

Please explain - why does it work in your API testing? The Try It Out button at https://api.jotform.com/docs/#user-login shows a connection is established. Why would this implementation work but not the php API?

Hello Steve - As much as I want to help you, I am not well-versed in APIs.

We do have a separate team that can sure answer your query. Please reach them out at api@jotform.com.
