Add a field to multiple (identical) formsAsked by mikrosha on December 12, 2013 at 11:19 AM
Thank you so much for figuring out the "e" in the form name issue. Quick question for you. I made like 50 forms that are completely identical and are only different in the form name. I later realized that i need to add a field of open ended text ("Please enter your job title _____________"), but would hate to go in to each form and do it that way. Is there any way to automate the process?
Let me inform you that there is not way to autmate the addition of a field for all your forms. What you can do is to clone your updated form so that you don not have edit each form. Here is how to clone your form own form: Form cloning
Or if you don not want to clone your form mulitiple times, you can clone/copy just the new field from your updated form to the others by using our Field Manager app. That will allow you to clone/copy your new form field to your other forms just by picking up the form you need to add the field to, you can also change the position of the field so that it is placed in the correct position.
