Good Feature Request Generate Thumbnails Picture

Asked by Wtfuck on December 13, 2013 at 04:20 PM

    Hello Guys !

I think it will be better to have Thumbnails Picture instead of the real image preview but at a % view.

Because it always take time to view the Preview on the Report or at the e-mail Notification.

It will be good if you can solve this problem.

I think thumbnail view is already added. For example, when creating a Grid Report, you have the option to display images instead of a link and the option to use modal to display images:

    Example Grid: https://www.jotform.com/grid/41927012772049

In the Form Notification, you can use image tags to view images in thumbnail size. For example:

IMG is the prefix use to display the image. File is the field name. 100 and 100 are the dimension of the thumbnail in your form notification, you can change this to any size you want.

@Welvin: that will only re-size the dimensions of picture. It will not change the size of the file. If you read the original request it is about the time it takes to load the image.

@Wtfuck: It is a good idea. We opened a feature request ticket about it already.
