How can I filter a grid or html report so that I only display submissions that match a certain criteria ie the field name content matches certain textAsked by bartprescott on December 16, 2013 at 07:53 AM
I would like to use a single form to take entries for multiple events, then display only one event's submissions based on a filter in the grid or html listing. For example a URL something like:
"http://www.jotform.com/grid/12344567890?event_name='Pie and chips evening'"
...returning with only the data with the matching event_name field with "Pie and chips evening".
Another example would be for a certain data range for example, I have a form to handle membership submissions that has been taking submissions for more than a year. I would like to get a list of the submissions between two dates ie from 1st September 2012 until 30th August 2013.
Is the above possible without downloading the csv file a pruning (as I do now)? If not, can this feature be added in the future?
Unfortunately, the first example is currently not possible. You cannot download a filtered results. I added a feature request about that.
But the second request is possible. You can use the custom dates on submissions page and then click on the CSV icon at the bottom and download the results for those dates.
